Available Add-ons
CIVITAS/CORE can be extended with optional add-ons. Add-ons integrate specialized applications for visualization, geospatial data presentation, and data processing. Installation and configuration are performed outside of CIVITAS/CORE and are described in the respective technical documentation.
Apache Superset
Purpose
Apache Superset is an optional add-on for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations based on data managed in CIVITAS/CORE. The current integration is available on deployment level and is not configured within individual Datasets.
Integration
CIVITAS/CORE provides integration with Apache Superset by:
- supporting single sign-on (SSO) with Platform users
- connecting Dataset Payload to Apache Superset
Future Integration
Apache Superset is planned to become an integrated part of the CIVITAS/CORE user interface. Future versions will allow users to:
- create and manage dashboard connections directly from a Dataset
- associate dashboards with individual Datasets
- control dashboard access through Dataset permissions
- build dashboards based on the Dataset Payload

Dashboard visualization design, and advanced administration are performed in Apache Superset.

Purpose
Geoportal enables the visualization and exploration of geospatial data provided through CIVITAS/CORE.
