Model Forge
Model Forge is the registry for model artifacts. A host application embeds it as a Java
library; it is not a service of its own. In CIVITAS/CORE the host is portal-backend.
These pages are for a developer who works on Model Forge, or who embeds it in a host. For the architecture — what an artifact is, how a URN identifies it and how the registry stores it — see Model Management.
| Page | Subject |
|---|---|
| Code Map | The four modules, and which package holds what |
| Configuration | The Spring Boot properties a host sets: the datasource, the registry schema, the CORE URN namespace and the external integrations |
| Local Development | How to build from source, for Java and for the TypeScript types |
| Build & Test | The Maven modules, the test suite and the quality gates |
| CI/CD & Releases | The GitLab pipeline, the publishing targets and how a version is released |
The code style for this module is in the Model Forge Style Guide.
