What is CIVITAS/CORE?

CIVITAS/CORE is a Platform for managing, modeling, and providing data in a governed environment.

It enables you to integrate data from different sources, define and manage Data structures, Data flows, control access and permissions, and make Datasets available for use.

How data is organized in the Platform​

Data in CIVITAS/CORE is organized using several core building blocks:

  • Data sources represent where data originates from
  • Data structures define the schema and structure of the data
  • Datasets act as containers that organize base information, pipelines, and access permissions
  • Pipelines run within Datasets to ingest, process, and generate usable data (payload), which can be accessed via APIs
