Quick start

From data to Dataset: your first creation to publish process​

Before you begin​

To complete this quick start, basic access must be set up:

  • You are invited to the Platform and can log in
  • You are assigned to a Group
  • Your Group has the required Roles and Permissions

This setup is typically handled by a Tenant Admin. Learn how access to the Platform is managed in the Authorization concept.

From data ingestion to consumption​

→ Connect external data: ingest data and prepare it for further processing (Data Architect, Data Steward in collaboration with Data Owner, Data Gatekeeper)

→ Persist & transform data: define pipelines and transform data (Data Architect, Data Steward)

→ Release data: prepare and release a Dataset for consumption (Data Owner, Data Gatekeeper)

→ Consume data: access and use available Datasets and Payload data (Data Consumer)
